Final Week District Message

On behalf of the entire FVSD team, we want to share our heartfelt thank you to parents and teachers for the amazing work you have done to support distance learning over the past few months.  We encourage families to continue utilizing the online resources that have been shared to support ongoing learning for your student(s) over the summer.

Final Week Teacher Message

All of the 2nd Grade teachers would like to say how proud we are of each and every one of you. We are so lucky to have been able to teach such wonderful children. You have worked so hard, both in the classroom, and during distance learning. We look forward to seeing you blossom in 3rd grade next year and we hope that you have a great summer.

Materials Pickup/Return

All 2nd Grade classes have picked up and returned materials already. If there is anything else that you need to turn it, please stop by Newland at your earliest convenience.

As a final close-out to the year, teachers please fill in the two ways, along with dates/times, you will connect with your students before the end of the year.  Consider a final “goodbye” and information about summer learning opportunities.  Please pick two days, and yes one can be the final “goodbye” during the materials pick-up/drop-off.

Quick Note to Parents/Caregivers:

Every child is at a different level and works at a different pace. Please adjust and modify the work as needed. Learning at home will look different than it does in our classrooms. Most students work best in the morning hours. You may want to create and post a schedule that works well for your family.
