This annual tradition is incredibly meaningful for our staff, but it also carries a purposeful message for our current students. By showcasing these high schoolers in their official graduation regalia alongside our 8th-grade promotion events, the district highlights a clear visual milestone: caps and gowns are an honor earned at high school and college graduation. It gives our 5th and 8th graders an inspiring look at the true finish line they are working toward.
