Welcome

Jim has five years of experience in education and for all five of those years has served as a fifth grade teacher for William T. Newland Elementary School. During that time he has instilled knowledge, empowered minds, and encouraged all of his students to be the best they can be. Jim graduated from California State University Long Beach where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development. He currently teaches 5th grade writing, reading, and history. Jim is also a co-facilitator of the Newland Student Council and serves on Newland's School Site Council. Jim is thrilled to be a part of such a wonderful team of people at the Fountain Valley School District and believes in teamwork and respect above all else.
